MOSCOW, Feb 5 (PRIME) -- Online store Ozon has started selling jewelry in Moscow and the Moscow region, and will soon launch the sales in St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Tuesday.
“Ozon expects jewelry sales to add 3–5% of additional turnover in 2019 and boost sales of ‘adjacent’ categories,” the spokesperson said.
The marketplace offers more than 9,000 items of brands Intalia, Karat, Accent Brilliant, and others.
Online sales of jewelry outpace many other categories, and jewelry sales preliminarily reached some 14 billion rubles in 2018, according to Ozon.
